My journey with therapy started as a client in my early 20’s.  I was navigating a difficult crisis and I was struggling to make sense of it. A family member suggested therapy and I was intimidated and scared by the idea.  With some encouragement, I decided to try it.  Therapy was the gift I didn’t know I needed.  Through the relationship with my first therapist, my life began to heal and transform; my perspective broadened.  It felt like a light was turned on in a dark room.  I felt emotionally supported and validated.  Over time, I was able to see negative patterns, and a different perspective.  In fact, it was with the support of my therapist that I decided to apply to graduate school. I felt called to help provide others with the same transformational experience.

As a therapist today, I am honored to help facilitate my client’s on their journey.   I believe that it’s the therapeutic relationship that is ultimately healing.  I meet each client where they are.  Collaboratively, we establish safety and trust and then we can walk through the psyche together, turning on lights and dusting out the cobwebs.  I encourage people to reach out and experience the benefits that therapy has to offer.
